How do I get my Windows XP computer to space only one line in the header address of a letter? I want two spaces between paragraphs, but only one line between the name and address of the recipient. Thanks.

In most word processing programs, (especially the new ones, which always seem to ASSUME you want a double space) if you simply hold your SHIFT key while hitting ENTER, it goes to the next line without adding a double-space.

If you let people know which program you're using Bob people may be able to offer more advice. You could be using one of well over 500+ word processors. Kudos for the operating system though, you're one of the few who make an attempt.I'm not kidding, answers get vetted but the questions just stream through?
