I have an Asus VivoBook that I bought only about two weeks ago. I updated to Windows 8.1 and my touchpad gestures no longer work (pinch zoom, scrolling, etc.) and my VivoBook button doesn't do anything anymore (it would bring up specific settings when pressed relating to the mouse, battery life, etc.).

I want both of these things back. Any ideas other than rolling my computer back to Windows 8? Backing up the files will probably be a huge headache, but it is probably possible to roll it back. Thoughts?

Go to the manufacturer's support website and see if there are any updated drivers. Many people have mentioned this issue, amongst other issues, with their computers due to updating to 8.1 from 8. It isn't just for Asus, but for many manufacturers that have this issue since for some reason, the drivers are not compatible with Windows 8.1. This has prompted for many people to recommend others to not update to 8.1 until many of the bugs have worked out and updated drivers from the manufacturers can be made available. http://support.asus.com/.
