Does Windows Update indicate any errors when installing these updates or does it say that it successfully installed them?

Since they are all .NET Framework related I would try to reinstall the actual Framework and then apply the updates. To give you more details and help please lookup the Error ID. This should either be stated within the Event Viewer, the Microsoft Update website (if you use it to install updates) or there should be a logfile within the WINDOWS directory like "%windir%KBnnnnnn.log"
