Windows is not shutting down automatically. Only the screen with message that "Windows is shutting down" shows until I manually press the power key off. Is any repairing tool or software? Tell me.

To find out what exactly hangs up the shutdown process, do have a look into your error log. In Windows XP...Go to > Start > Help and Support, pick the task > Tools and in the left-hand menu > Advanced System Information, then > view the error log.For more help please provide us with more information, for example the results in your error log.
