I have a Dell laptop. Last few days when I shut down my PC it restarts. Yesterday I formatted and installed Windows Professional, but the problem still continues. How can I rectify this issue?

Your laptop is overheating and try using a can of compressed air or a compressor to blow away all the dust from where the fans on your laptop are. It should help because dust is your worst enemy when it comes to heat.

If Overheating is the issue and you have your laptop in Warranty then you can easily get your Heat Sink replaced via the customer care service
