Is it possible to convert Windows 7 RC to Windows 7 Home Premium?

Taty has that correct, but I'd like to add some hard-earned advice. If you have the time, it's well worth collecting all your backups, making sure you have what you need, and starting again. You'll have a faster, tidier, more stable system as a result.

I second this advice. Windows as a platform is quite convoluted and prone to instability. Attempting to rewrite a new install over the old as the default Windows Upgrade application does is never the right path to take. Always start clean.

srini, you can't upgrade on it's original format. There is a workaround though. Requires a few steps, but you can find it here:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/3075/how-to-upgrade-the-windows-7-rc-to-rtm/
