I have AT&T as my ISP and had a wired connection with my desktop, running Windows XP. My notebook had connected to the same network both wired and wireless. Now my notebook cannot connect at all. I don't know how to work with network adapters.

Hello is your situation the same like the question @FIDELIS1:disqus mentioned ?My comment for that situation was, disable/pause firewalls and antivirus .what happens when you try to connect, it shows network connected or not.I hope you have tried restarting your pc and connect again. !
