I currently have on my system 2 SSDs in a RAID 0 format. My question is by adding more to the raid will I get more I/O output or bandwidth?

Instead of adding more hard drives, it might be better to have more capacity hard drives.

It will be faster but it will also be much less secure and more prone to failure.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ssd-raid-iops,2848.htmlThis should answer your question.Having that said you should keep in mind the risks of a RAID 0 ~ after all there is no redundancy. If you need the IO performance do what you have to do. If you primarily looking for fast read speeds I suggest switching to RAID 1 as the benefits will be greater and you even get redundancy.

You wont be able to tell the difference

You will see better gains when you add more drives to the raid 0, but i believe it does have diminishing returns as you add more. You'd have to do the math.
