Hello, I have a question. I have an EMPREX LM-1905 monitor with no power cable, It has an IEC C13 female slot, and can be connected with a C14 Male.

I was wondering if any C14 adapter can power my monitor. Is it possible?

The monitor (on the back) says:

Input Rating: AC100-240V- 50/60Hz

Current: 1.5A

USE ONLY POWER SUPPLIES LISTED IN THE USER MANUAL

(I don't have the manual)

you need the ones for your country since plug vary according to the electrical standards for your area).the power cable amps should be superior to 1.5A like a 5A cord is thicker than a 1.5A cord and can easily carry 1.5A of current. The connector must be of the same type and polarity on both the power supply and the monitor. Reversing the polarity may damage the monitor.
