Hi, how are you? I know a person who has two PCs (Windows Vista on desktop and Windows 7 on laptop). They use a 3-PC license for their McAfee Antivirus Plus software. Both McAfee's are up-to-date and there's no problems with either PC.
My question - any ideas on why the user-interfaces look different on each PC?
Thanks :)

The Win 7 version of McAfee was probably made to be different than the Windows Vista version. Most likely you'll have the same features on both computers.

Can you take a couple of screenshots so we can look at them?

If the software versions are the same, then the difference is related to Windows visual settings (Theme, Aero, font-size, screen resolution...)

since you mentioned that both computers are on different OS, the developers might have different UIs for each OS. Do not worry about the UIs. Just pay attention to the functionality of the software!

probably to differentiate for compatibility or the interface of the OS.

I'm not sure we can give you an answer without having a screenshot showing the differences. Are both applications on the same default page? Are there any view options available within McAfee which effect the interface?
