I have Office for Mac 2011, run Outlook 2011 as my email client. Since few days Outlook doesn't seem to run as fast as it used to be in earlier days.

I did re-install the Office thrice, but the results are the same. So I decided to switch to Apple Mail. That works great, but the problem is I want to move all my emails to Apple Mail and also my contacts and calender to address book and iCal. I have a whole lot of mails to be transferred.

Your helpful suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks for help.

Yeah, it can be a real pain. There is no direct import you can use.You can use Exchange or IMAP accounts to have all the files on theserver, and then in Mail, but you would need significant storage spacethere if you have a lot of e-mails.You could also drag and drop the e-mails to a folder in the Finder, then import back into Mail (also through drag and drop) but that canprove more than tedious.A few utilities out there allow you to export from Outlook to a formatthat Mail can easily import.Third Party tool such as OLM CONVERTER PRO can be very handy for the migration. You can find this tool here :- http://olmconverterpro.com/Contacts and events might be easier (you can use the drag and dropapproach: list all events in a table performing a simple search like"Event Is in the calendar On My Computer, or something like that).
