I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit and Edubuntu 10.04 as a dual-boot system. I decided to format the partition in which Ubuntu was installed with Easus Partition Manager Home Edition. I have tried to install Ubuntu again but when it comes to the partition table in the installation, the Windows partition is missing and the space where Windows is installed is shown as free space.
Upon removing the CD I am unable to boot into Windows. How can I repair this so I can boot into Windows again? What happened? Please help me to resolve this problem!
Thanks

The reason most probably be because of grub not being functioning properly, so boot using a live cd or bootable usb of ubuntu and update/re-install grub

Maybe by mistake you cleared your Windows partition instead of Ubuntu Partition. The only thing that seems logical is to re-install Windows. You should have an Original Windows CD with your system. If it wasn't given to you, try contacting your dealer. If he is of no help and you have an Original Windows Label on your system (on my laptop, its under the battery and on my desktop, its on the side), try contacting microsoft if it can send you a replacement CD. Installing Windows is similar to installing Ubuntu and as you've already done the latter it shouldn't be much of a problem. However, please remember to backup your data somewhere using Ubuntu Live CD before you install/uninstall anything.

Hello, to fix this issue you will need either the windows 7 installation disc or a windows 7 repair disc. Hopefully you made a r epair disc when you installed windows 7. Once you have either of the above discs handy, insert it in tray. Restart your computer and make sure to change boot order to start from CD/DVD. Once computer is started from CD/DVD and you get the options menu, select command prompt and type the following commands, pressing enter after each one:bootrec.exe /fixbootand then bootrec.exe /fixmbrRestart computer after and see the results.

Because Ubuntu install was called a boot menu or boot loader. When you partition Ubuntu you didn't get rid of the boot loader. So the boot loader thinks that Ubuntu and windows is still there. Partitioning Ubuntu will not get rid of the boot loader.https://www.gnu.org/software/grub/
