Every time I open my hard disk, it says ' The volume doesn't contain a recognized file system. Please make sure that all required file system drivers are loaded and that the volume isn't corrupted.' How should I proceed?

Some hard drives have a security feature e.g, a password or settings which work with the hard drive app. Have you tried installing the hard disk software or drivers?
