This is a noob question about macro photography.

Which lens should I use for macro photos - 55mm, 18-55mm, 70-300mm?

And which one gives sharper foreground focus?

All settings will be done manual and I will be aiming at little insects, water drops and plants.

I have the 600D in hand, with few kit lenses, and trying hard to do my favorite macro mode.
