I have a Core i3-530, four gigabytes of RAM, a 1TB hard drive and an Intel 55TC Motherboard.

What's the best graphics card I can buy for around 2500 RS (about $50)?

OK it incompletely depends on what you are doing with it, if your gaming, the BEST i can say is NVidia GTX260 its the model i still use and even though its old it runs skyrim and any other new game pritty well. i would also make sure that you have gone onto the NVidia website and have downloaded all the driver updates. Trust me that makes a BIG differance.

You can get a higher end previous gen card pretty cheap on places like craigslist. Some people like upgrading regularly so they are ok selling their old hardware at "fire sale" prices. You'll get a higher price/performance ratio if you buy used, but if you want new these two websites will give you good information to help you decide what to get. http://www.logicalincrements.com/http://pcpartpicker.com/To find out the performance of different videocards look up benchmarks at places such as Anandtech and Tom's Hardware.I would suggest a specific card, but assuming you're from India based on your listed currency and name, I do not know any trusted vendors or current prices in India. I'm assuming you could probably get a GeForce GTS 450 or a Radeon HD 6670 for around $50 in the US at least.

If you live in New Delhi, just visit Nehru Place and look for any NVidia Graphics Card which may have turned 'obsolete' for the market.Good Luck!

if you want to play games then perhaps this kind of graphic cards are not suitable.

This card is a bit more than you want to spend but still under $70. And with the rebate right now it will be under $50. Act fast so you don't miss the rebate chance. Also it has a nice 3 year warranty. That is nice for a card at this price.GIGABYTE GV-R667D3-1GI Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125403&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10440897&PID=3067296&SID=

I wouldn't recommend an ATI card at the moment, because they've slowed down driver releases (many of which "fix" problems with specific games), and AMD is in financial difficulty (and a bankruptcy will seriously impact future driver releases). I've had great luck with nVidia graphic cards (and have been a fan of AMD CPUs for years - which is about to change as well). This card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130796 is $69.99 after a $20 mail-in rebate, has 2GB of RAM, and a GeForce 640 chipsetAvoid chipsets with the x10, x20, and often the x30 versions of the chipsets, because they're stripped-down versions, and an x40, x50 or higher versions of *older* cards outperform them; for example, GeForce 550 will greatly outperform any GeForce 610 or 620 card.

That's good info about the nVidia cards. I do not see ATI going bankrupt at any time in the near future.
