I have music on my wireless laptop and would like to email the music to a friend, so what's the easiest way to email a bunch of files?

It depends on the number of files, but if storage size is acceptable then I agree with Rajaa, a cloud storage solution is the easiest.

Upload the music files in a Cloud storage like Onedrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. Generate a public access link and simply mail that link across to your friend.

Your best option probably is using file hosting. ZIP the files you want to send, upload them to the host, then email the link the system gives you to your friend.one easy to use example to "email" files is WeTransferhttps://www.wetransfer.com/The problem with actually emailing files is that both, your email host and your friends one may have restrictions to the maximum message size and they may be different. So just because your provider allows you to send e.g. 25MB per email doesn't guarantee that your friend can receive them (you should get a none-delivery notification). Also, in order to email files your application will MIME encode them which is very inefficient and adds an overhead of ~20-35%. So for example two songs each being 4MB (8MB in total) might result in a message size of 11MB. Depending on your upload speed this overhead can make things take way longer then necessary.
