What Are Super Follows on Twitter?

Twitter is a great hub for conversations with people with similar interests. It is only appropriate that the platform now allows users to support their favorite content creators and access exclusive subscriber-only content.

According to Twitter's launch announcement, Super Follows is for anyone that wants to promote content that resonates with their followers. Super Follows can allow them to earn a monthly income by sharing bonus content to their most dedicated followers.

Tweets from a Super Follow account will have a pink badge denoting that this is exclusive subscription-only content.

When a Super Follower replies to these tweets, the creator will be able to spot them by a Super Follower badge quickly. Creators can also choose to tweet content regularly for everyone or just for their Super Follows.

Twitter has confirmed it will include subscriber-only Spaces and newsletters, among other features, under its Super Follow exclusive content in future.

Think of getting the opportunity to have one-on-one Q&A sessions with your favorite makeup artists or get the inside scoop on fantasy football from your trusted fantasy fanatic. Super Follows brings a lot of possibilities to start engaging in meaningful conversations on Twitter.

Who Can Enable Super Follows?

At launch, Super Follows is available to only a small group of users in the US. Other creators can apply to be on the waitlist.

Users must have at least 10,000 followers, be 18 years or older, and have tweeted at least 25 times in the last month.
