As to the frequency of use, WordPress wins- it's used for 55% of CMS based websites, and it is also the easiest to learn as generally believed. However, the most suitable platform for you would depend also on your present skills and what kind of project you're planning to start. You can take a look at the following infographic to see the tendencies for Joomla, Drupal and WordPress: http://www.cms2cms.com/blog/checklist-wordpress-or-joomla-or-drupal/

It really depends on what kind of site you'd like to build, and what kind of content it will contain. As well as how many users and if there are levels of permissions that require multiple roles of users involved. Rule of thumb, IMO:If Blog only: WordpressIf more than a blog: DrupalI exclude Joomla because of its lack of successful, professional community, IMHO. Wordpress and Drupal offer a vast community that is well cultivated and pruned. When working with a Drupal developer, simply check to see what their Drupal.org ID is, and if they have been involved long. Each CMS is different, so don't believe a developer if they say they know PHP and can work with any CMS. It's not true. What's more, there are hundreds of other CMS's out there to consider. If you plan on vastly growing your website, then pick one that more people know how to administer and develop. If you pick a proprietary system that requires specialists, you'll end up paying for it. But if you choose one that more people know, then contribution to your project may be less costly.

It's a great question, but the answer is it depends. Ultimately if you just want to do a single user blog or more simple website then Wordpress is a great solution, but if you want to get a more advanced user system and a CMS that can integrate with other API's then Drupal is going to probably be your best choice. I mention those because they're the top 2 choices in the open source CMS arena which is where more and more organizations are starting to move in an effort to reduce their overhead. For more information Drupal visit http://drupal.org or http://www.leveltendesign.com and for information on Wordpress head over to http://wordpress.org.

I would suggest Wordpress as it is user friendly and pretty simple to use . Just imagine you to need to change the Logo it is pretty simple in Wordpress. Drupal is little tougher to use than Wordpress. You try to play with Drupal by changing stuffs it ends up doing completely something else sometimes..

I recently started a blog and found that Wordpress is simple. They have good tutorials on their website to get you started.

I learned on Joomla's Predecessor, Mambo. Joomla is very easy to use and easy to configure. I have had no issues whatsoever building a webpage/knowledge base with this software. Wordpress is also another one of my favorites and am migrating my personal stuff to Wordpress. It all boils down to what your choice is. It also depends on which you think is easy to use. You should try them all out first then see which works best for you. If you need Joomal/Mambo or Wordpress help let me know. Dan- Geekazoidtech.com

I think one of the best, perhaps most robust, systems was built from the ground up last year by Vox Media, for their sites, including The Verge, SBNation, and Polygon. The CMS is called Chorus. You can read about it here: http://product.voxmedia.com/post/21784396576/all-together-now-introducing-the-vox-product-blog-andAlas, it's not available to the public, from I understand, but it appears to be much more powerful than most publicly-available systems.

The reason there are so many available is that different people have different needs and different technical capabilities.Of those you list Wordpress is probably easiest, you can get going with very little tech input as long as you're happy with the off the shelf offering. It originated as a blogging tool but can be made to do a lot more.Drupal is probably the most powerful but harder to work with.Another consideration is your hosting package - it can be helpful if there's specific support for your chosen CMS.And there are dozens of others...

Wordpress is a much easier to use CMS whereas Joomla is little easier than Drupal but harder than Wordpress for new users. If you don't have much knowledge about website development, then Wordpress would be a good choice which is easier and user-friendly. These websites have a much detaile description and differenceshttp://www.rackspace.com/knowledge_center/article/cms-comparison-drupal-joomla-and-wordpress[Broken Link Removed]
