Discord's annual Snowsgiving event has arrived. You can claim free goodies, enter contests and giveaways, play games with friends, and support charitable organizations.

What Is Discord's Snowsgiving?
Snowsgiving is an annual event that Discord runs every December to celebrate the festive winter season. It's fun, but it also aims to raise money for charity.
For eight days from December 6, Discord is revealing a series of surprises on its Snowsgiving website. So far, this has included a charity merch store, a winter makeover of the Discord client, and Snowsgiving emoji packs.
You can also join the Snowsgiving server, where you can make new friends, enter contests and giveaways, and use experimental features like Discord games.
However, at the time of writing, the Snowsgiving server is at full capacity with over 800,000 members. Discord previously hit the member limit and increased it, so there's potential that may happen again, but the server is already under extreme load, with some users experiencing lag.
However, if you can't get in the server, don't fret. You can still enjoy the Snowsgiving makeover of the Discord app. Look out for the winter-themed icons and listen for the jingly notification sound makeover.

Discord's charity partner for this year's Snowsgiving is To Write Love On Her Arms. This is a "nonprofit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide".
All the proceeds of Discord's Snowsgiving merch, like the holiday hoodie and blue and black keyboard, will go towards this charity.
