I'm trying to transfer photos from an iPhone 4 to my Windows PC via USB cable. It used to work 3 months ago, but now not.
I have upgraded all programs and the mobile itself. I have bought new cables, too. The iPhone does sync to iTunes, but I never used iTunes.
I always used to connect the cable and the device would show up in C: drive folders, but now there's nothing there. I do get a "do you trust" message on the iPhone and I click trust but nothing happens.
Any Suggestions?

Update: None of above suggestions helped me. Thank You for feedback.I went into Apple store and advised to save ALL 11,000 photos manually via internet photo storage site ie. dropbox, fliker, etc THEN go back into Apple store and get iPhone re-programmed as it has to do with a bug in i07 upgrade. Apparently this is only way.

This is what comes up on PC when I connect iPhone with cable. "iTunes was closed, to help protect your computer. Data Execution Prevention has closed iTunes. " I can not turn off this DEP . Do you think this might be why I'm having trouble?

If the iOS device is not recognized as a camera it's usually a problem with the Apple Mobile Device driver.http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538

Obviously you should click to "Trust this computer", otherwise you won't be able to access the iPhone from your computer.Unfortunately this message does seem to be a bit bugged and on occasion it will ask you for the same computer every other time you connect it. If you are using a dock it sometimes helps to switch to a direct cable connection between the iPhone and the computer. Also be aware that since iOS7 Apple does not support uncertified third-party docks and cables. Therefor these can be a source of connectivity issues too. On occasion even older Apple Docks can cause frequent "Trust" messages or third-party notification.
