Ok, there is an app that reminds me to write 750 words, but what if all these words are useless/meaningless ?

I want to improve my vocabulary while writing regularly; i.e. learn new words and correct grammar mistakes. Is there an app/site that helps me do this?

P.S. I started writing a blog few months back and usually don't have words to elaborate what I am writing about after I have written a few lines on that topic.

How about taking online writing courses - from MIT?http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/#writing-and-humanistic-studiesAs far as correcting grammatical errors, you can use MS Word and other word processors. Most have built-in spelling and grammar checkers. The MS Word one always annoys me though when I am writing technical papers because it just does not like long sentences, even if they are grammatically correct. For vocabulary building you can use http://www.vocabulary.com/ or http://www.enhancemyvocabulary.com/
