I have a website on Godaddy.com and I didn't purchase the web host yet, go daddy has their own web host, but I've heard that Bluehost is the best service in providing web hosts, so my question is, which web host do I purchase, Godaddy or Bluehost ?

If you aren't planning on launching the next YouTube, and are creating more of a personal/small business site, I would recommend http://vudo.me. They provide a free hosting service with 10 GB of disk space (which is loads) and 100 GB of bandwidth a month (again, loads!). If you need more, look at paid hosting.

I use bluehost, netfirms and servage, but almost all my domains (27) are in bluehost, I like they service and server performance, when I get an offline site is because I forgot renew a domain or something like that...I really recommend you bluehost, good luck...

I have an e-commerce store hosted with Applied Innovations (http://www.appliedi.net/). I've been working on web stores since 1996 and have used countless hosting companies. AppliedI is hands down the best bang for the buck. Great customer service, immaculate up-times, and no pushy sales team. Really glad we found them.

I recommend www.qth.com. He's got the best pricing, excellent customer service and can manage domains. even has software that you can update yourself extremely easy.

A lot of more advanced users like dreamhost.com. One of the reason is they give you shell access by default. You don't have to ask for it. That means you can install special programs in your own section of the hosting server, not just upload files.

No such thing as "best". What you want is "best for your specific needs" - do you need a database, do you need a specific version of PHP with particular add on libraries, do you need fast response times, do you need a lot of storage.Since you've not specified anything like that best guess is that you're talking about a simple personal/hobby website so what you probably mean by best is "inexpensive but reliable". In that case there are other guys on MUO that can give you personal experience good or bad. One common problem with other people's experience is that it can be very polarised. What I mean is if something went wrong their experience will be reported as bad - unless they got prompt, helpful, effective support. If nothing ever went wrong then they'll consider it "good" - but they've not had a problem so can't tell you what happens then...So best try to get more broadly based advice. Looking at the companies support forum, if they have one, can be quite revealing so can googling for terms like "[hostname] sucks".There are websites that give you a list of other domains on the same host, avoid any that host stuff like porn or file download services, the demand they place on the server may slow things down for you and they may be hacker targets - once the hacker's got into the server he could damage your site. It's also possible that Google will downgrade all sites on a host based on the profile of a few dodgy ones.Spend some time thinking whether you DO have any specific needs or might have in future. If in doubt get a contract you can drop easily (make sure to keep a separate backup of your web site). If your domain name is at godaddy then leave it there and just point the name at the relevant host (ideally by changing nameservers) so if you do move elsewhere you only need to change that routing information at godaddy.

This question really depends on what kind of website you are planning on hosting. I you are planning on hosting a personal website that will not get much traffic, I would recommend http://000webhost.com. It provides a free hosting plan that you can use with your domain. The free plan comes with 1.5 GB of space, and 100 GB of monthly bandwidth. If you are going to be hosting a much larger website, you should compare GoDaddy and Bluehost plans to see which one fits your website.

I would recommend Godaddy to buy a domain..If you want to pay for a host, go for SiteGround or Bluehost! But pay attention: some hosts provide you with a free domain..So it's no need to buy a domain elsewhere.. Read the details before paying for a host.. Every hosting website introduce you with what they can offer!

That's a question which could be argued from many different ways.If you already own a domain and don't want to cough up too much money, try this website: http://api.1freehosting.com/redir/1320533
