I have several programs in my Program Files (x86) folder on my Windows 7 PC, specifically Wavepad sound editor - which opens in my laptop, but doesn't on my desktop. It is there and begins to open but then crashes. Is it a bug?

May be it is related to .Net framework which somehow is corrupted on your desktop. Unistal an reinstal .Net framework can be a way to look at.

Hello, uninstall the software with revo uninstaller and then restart computer. Download a new version of the file and reinstal

start from re-installing the software.and make sure it is installed successfully, and any supporting file is not missing.
