How can I watch a visualization while playing a video in Windows Media Player 12. In the old version of WMP you could right click on the video while it was playing and goto Visualization and choose from there. However in WMP 12 this option is now greyed out.

I did use this option alot and can't see why Microsoft would remove this feature. Can anyone help me on this issue please?

I don't quite understand why you would want a visualization playing over the top of a video. The option still exists for music using the method you spell out. The whole idea of a visualization is to add a visual element to content. Video already has a visual element.
