CES regular ViewSonic is back at the 2021 edition to unveil its newest monitors for both gamers and professionals.

The headline grabber is the new 8K 32-inch ColorPro monitor. With 7680 x 4320 resolution, Adobe RBG 99 percent color gamut, and ports for Thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort, and USB, it is sure to appeal to people who need extra-high resolution in a compact form.

The new monitor won't come cheap. The flagship screen is not expected in the shops until the summer and will cost $5,000 when it first goes on sale.

Here's how marketing manager, Phong Phanel, described the new screen at it was unveiled at CES 2021:

The ViewSonic ColorPro series consistently delivers a display solution for the most demanding users who rely on image quality. Color accuracy and performance are the top features of the ColoPro line and are engineered to ensure that they deliver the highest accuracy level in color reproduction, contrast, and detail. Some models in the ColorPro series are PANTONE-validated, so they deliver the exceptional color reproduction and meet the requirements of the PANTONE Matching System of colors.

Creators will also be delighted to learn about the introduction of the new colorblind feature. It lets a user simulate color blindness so they can make adjustments.

ViewSonic has also brought out new Elite Gaming Monitors. The premium model is 32 inches, offers 4K, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

There is also VESA DisplayHDR 600 and Adobe 99 percent color coverage, a brightness of 600 cd/m2, and a 1ms response time.

ViewSonic has not yet confirmed the price, but said the screen will go live in the summer of 2021.

What About Projectors?

The other new ViewSonic products at CES 2021 worth talking about are the enhanced projectors.

The entry-level model is the PX701-4K. It offers 4K viewing, 3,200 ANSI lumens of brightness, 240Hz and 5ms response time, and HDR/HLG content support. The projector will cost $900 and will hit shops this month.

For an extra $100, you can get the PX748-4K. It allows for direct big-screen streaming via USB-C, offers 1.3x zoom, and LAN control. It comes out a bit later than the entry-level version; you will not be able to buy it until March 2021.

If those two versions are too expensive, ViewSonic also demoed its M2e model at CES.

The M2e is an LED-based projector with native 1080p (1920x1080) resolution. It has 125 percent Rec.709 color space, built-in Harman Kardon speakers, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It will be available in March and will cost $550.
