I want to install Ubuntu on my laptop. Which one is better: Ubuntu Virtual Box or Ubuntu Wubi?
Also, how to uninstall Virtual Box and how can partition or folder safely? Thank you.

Niether. If you want to recieve the full functionality and performance that Ubuntu has to offer, get a CD and burn Ubuntu to a disk. You can boot from this since it's a liveCD, you may install it ontop of the other operating system(s) or install it beside them. To remove a VirtualBox operating system, start virtualbox and click on the operating system you wish to remove and select "delete". It will prompt you what type of deletion to do, select "Delete files too". As for which version you should install, it depends on your system specs and your taste. Kubuntu: Uses KDEXubuntu: Uses XFCE (which is lightweight)Ubuntu: Uses GnomeThere are so many other spinoffs.

depends on your preferences and the specs of your machine. Slow machines without much RAM might not be a good option for virtualization (VirtualBox).WUBI is the easiest way to put Linux on your hard drive. No partition changes needed - it creates a virtual file system inside a the Windows partition. Adds its entry to the windows boot menu. The main difference is performance. Wubi does NOT run Ubuntu in a VM, but simply encapsulates the root filesystem for Ubuntu within the Windows NTFS filesystem. Virtualbox will set up a virtual machine on your computer. WUBI creates a new partition and install the OS on your computer. The thing with WUBI is that it installs from a NTFS partition which can't be read from an ext2, ext3 partition which is what linux is installed on, so if you ever have to make any changes with some programs you will have to fiddle with your partitions to make it work.Wubi places Ubuntu into a disk image still residing on the Windows partition, thereby making it easy to install and remove without risking any problems of messing up your drive's partitions. While Wubi may lower the barrier for entry to trying out an Ubuntu Linux desktop, it does not come without some performance penalties associated to using the loop-mounted device stored on the Microsoft file-system.http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=ubuntu_wubi_1010&num=1which windows you are to uninstall virtualbox?Go to windows add and remove and uninstall from thereor if problemsrun "regedt32.exe" in dos box then delete these 2 keys below: "Check that vbscript.dll and jscript.dll aren't registered in HKEY_CURRENT_USER (HKCU), checking for the registry keys below.* VBScript, HKCUSOFTWAREClassesCLSID{ B54F3741-5B07-11CF-A4B0-00AA004A55E8} * JScript, HKCUSOFTWAREClassesCLSID{ F414C260-6AC0-11CF-B6D1-00AA00BBBB58} Remove these keys if they exist in HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
