Usually,updating process goes via going to Settings --> About Phone --> Software Update.If it shows that it's upto date then you'll have to assume that either the manufacturer is in process of updating it or it won't get any updates at all.

Is it a first version Blade or later version of red Blade (Blade 3, etc.)? If it is the first version, the only way to update is by rooting the phone, installing a custom recovery, and then manually installing a custom ROM. First, try going into Settings, then About Phone. There should be an option to check for updates, select it and see if you can get the latest update.
