Can I up grade Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit ? What are the ways to do it?

You have to do a fresh install, but you can use Easy Transfer to create a system backup that will restore your files and settings. (You'll still have to reinstalling programs)

you will have to do a clean install not an up grade ok otherwise the up grade will say you cant go from a 32 bit to a 64 bit ok so its a clean install ok

Hey thomasYou cannot upgrade from 32-bit Windows Vista to Windows 7 64-bit without doing a fresh “clean” install. If you want to do so you need to install Windows from scratch. Read: How To Choose Between 32-bit & 64-bit Windows 7 Operating Systems .You also need to make sure you computer processor actually supports the 64-bit Windows. Download and run GRC’s SecurAble processor testing application. Get it here .
