I am running Linux Mint 11 (Katya). This comes with Office and all its apps, which I never use. I have AbiWord.

Can I uninstall Office without affecting my OS operations?

Hi Barelohim,To clarify, you mean "Open Office", correct? If so, you may do so by using the Synaptic Package Manager (located at Menu -> Software Manager). Search for "office" or "open office" and click it, select "remove". Alternatively, you may find the software in the Menu -> Applications and right click on it, then chose "Uninstall". Learn more about uninstalling software in Linux Mint
