When you've already slapped custom text and a filter of your choice onto your social media story, what's the quickest and easiest way to spice it up even more? Adding some stickers, of course!

The personal and temporary nature of social media stories has caused them to appear on almost every major social network, Twitter included. Since their release, Fleets have worked just like Snapchat or Instagram stories, except they didn't have stickers... until now.

Better Express Yourself in Fleets With Twemojis

Twitter Support has announced via its official account that you can now add animated stickers and emojis, known as "Twemojis" to your Fleets. Previously, Twemojis were only available to users in Japan, but now anyone can use them on iOS or Android.

When posting a Fleet, add stickers by tapping the smiley face icon at the bottom of the screen. Alternatively, you can add a GIF from Tenor or Giphy by typing a word or phrase into the search bar at the top.

Will Twitter Add Anything Else to Fleets?

Now that social media stories are all over the internet (seriously, even Slack has video stories now), platforms should be trying to convince users why they should choose their platform over the many alternatives.

Whether Twitter plans on doing that remains to be seen, since there's a good chance that the microblogging site is more focused on bettering Spaces, its public audio rooms.
