My iPhone fell and its screen is broken. Now I can't slide the screen to unlock it or switch the phone off. I tried to rest by pressing home+power button but that doesn't work. Is there any way to turn it off?

You can perform surgery on the iPhone and
remove the battery
. Be careful, since it's still on be sure that you're grounded. This isn't recommended, so you can let it drain instead. I think the battery only holds about a week's worth of charge anyway. Well, that or give it another good chuck across the room. That'll do it ;)
