Toshiba revealed a brand-new lineup of Smart Fire TVs that come with built-in Amazon Fire TV technology. While an official release date hasn't been revealed, the televisions will be sold on Best Buy and Amazon.

Toshiba Smart Fire TVs Will Come in Five Screen Sizes

Upon release, users will get to choose between five different screen sizes of the Toshiba Smart Fire TV.

In a post on the Amazon Fire TV blog, the company revealed the screen sizes to be—43, 50, 55, 65, and 75 inches respectively. The new Smart Fire TVs will feature a 4K resolution with Dolby Vision and HDR10 support.

In addition to this, Toshiba Smart Fire TVs will come with an extra HDMI port to connect "all your audio/video receivers, sound bars, gaming consoles, and more." Other connectivity options just include a USB port.

The TV will come with an Alexa supported Voice Remote. In addition to navigating through the UI, users can also control other compatible devices such as audio receivers, video receivers, and soundbars.

Design wise, Toshiba has gone for a sleek and minimalist look with thin bezels.

Toshiba Smart Fire TVs Will Run on Amazon's Fire OS

All variants of Toshiba's Smart Fire TVs will feature Amazon's Fire OS with regular updates. Along with this, the TVs include a host of other software features.

Users with smart home cameras will be able to use the Live Picture in Picture (PIP) feature to view video feeds while watching a movie or TV show. To further explain the feature, Amazon stated:

For example, if you press the mic button on your Fire TV Remote and say “Alexa, preview my front door camera” or when someone rings a paired video doorbell, a Live View Picture in Picture video feed from that camera will appear on top of whatever show or movie is playing.

Settings such as picture or sound can be adjusted using the Voice Remote with Alexa. This helps prevent users from cycling through various menus in order to adjust these simple settings.
