In an effort to help combat bullying on the platform, TikTok is rolling out an update that will let you mass delete comments and block accounts.

TikTok Rolls Out New Tools to Combat Bullying

It's never nice to receive unpleasant comments on something. Previously, if this happened en masse on TikTok, you would have to delete each comment individually; time-consuming and tedious.

Unfortunately, this is especially likely if one of your TikTok videos finds sudden fame, since it'll cause an influx of unknown people.

Now, in a feature that is rolling out from today over the next few weeks, you can bulk delete comments on TikTok.

To do this, long press on a comment or tap the pencil icon in the top left corner. Then, you can select up to 100 comments at once.

You can also do this for user accounts if you want to block them from your TikTok entirely.

TikTok recently added a feature to make you rethink rude comments, and this ability to bulk delete and block comes as part of the platform's commitment to shutting down bullying.

It's a shame this feature has to exist in the first place, but it's good to see TikTok taking steps to help users dismiss rudeness.
