Ditch Qwerty & Type Faster With Workman

Before personal computers were invented, even before they made their appearance in science-fiction literature, the Qwerty keyboard layout was designed for use on typewriters. And yet most of you will still be using Qwerty, the most popular keyboard layout in the world. It’s time for change; for a keyboard layout that’s fit for modern keyboards and modern computing. It’s time for the Workman Layout.

2 Windows 8 Swype-Like Touch Keyboards Tested

On more than one occasion, I’ve found myself attempting to drag my finger around the keyboard on my Windows 8 tablet, only to be disappointed when only a single letter is entered. Swype-like input is simple, intuitive, and fast. So why can’t a Windows 8 tablet do that? Well, it can—sort of. There are a couple limited options you can choose from. They won’t be a perfect replacement for your keyboard, but they can offer some good Swype-style relief for those days when you really don’t want to lift your finger off the screen.

Isn’t It Time You Made Use of Your Caps Lock?

The CAPS LOCK key is probably the most useless key on your keyboard. Netiquette forbids you to use it because it’s considered screaming, which is simply rude. That’s because it sits on the home row, a prime location that is easily hit by accident.
