The "5 Things You Should Never Microwave" should be changed to the "6 Things You Should Never Microwave," and to include the words "or other food".
Really, the best evidence is that microwaves are *NOT* a "safe" way to "heat" food, partly because of the way microwaves produce heat, and partly because, according to some sources, microwaves can actually 'shear' about some compounds, particularly those that are considered 'nutrients'.
Since modern research indicates that most foods are deficient in mineral content, it would be prudent to preserve all of the nutritive content of our food supply.
But, being a mute witness to the unlikely possibility of people choosing wisely, its doubtful this warning will actually accomplish much.
Better it is to have warned and been ignored, than not to have tried at all.

    Have a GREAT day, Neighbors!

    @ "Rick," "Doc":
Take an old CRT TV/monitor, remove the 'electron gun' from the rear of the tube, mount a cavity magnetron [microwave generator] in front, output towards the rear, & power up the CRT's control circuits.
Should make a decent short-range 'death ray'.

    Soften brown sugar, hmmmm.

Put half a slice of dark rye bread in the bag on top of the sugar and close the bag. Thus the sugar will never get hard.

If your brown sugar is hard just put half a slice of dark rye bread on top of it and close the bag. Thus the sugar will be softened over night.

No need to nuke it. :)

It's not a "microwave hack" unless you open the microwave and rewire something. These are just "microwaving tips." Tsk tsk tsk.

You can apparently use your microwave to melt metals. It's not safe unless done correctly so be warned.

I was hoping for a weaponized microwave hack or an emp device at least.
