As August comes to a close, it's that time of the month again when Netflix lets users know what new movies and shows they can expect to watch, and what will be making an exit.
Movies coming to Netflix range from 80s classics like Top Gun and Footloose to movies that seem to have just been on the big screen like Zootopia. Jaws fans can also rejoice with the trilogy available on Netflix on September 1st.
Highly anticipated TV shows coming to Netflix include the fifth season of The IT Crowd and the sixth season of The Walking Dead, but all nine seasons of Everybody Loves Raymond will be removed on September 1.
Lots of new Netflix original content can also be expected, including crime drama Narcos returning for a second season, as well as the new Marvel series, Luke Cage, which stars Mike Colter in the title role, the latter albeit starting at the very end of the month.
In the nonfiction genre, original content includes a documentary about the volunteer force, The White Helmets, who risk their lives coming to the aid of Syrians targeted by regime bombings.
