Most of this is true of every computer, not just a laptop. Not sure why Laptops were picked out (clickbait?)

The comment on RAM and ROM is garbage. Users don't write to ROM at all unless flashing their BIOS, and I'd be surprised if more than a handful realized that's what they're doing.

The rest is mediocre at best. A waste of space, MUO.

The thing that keep it all together is tons and tons of screws.

Under Maintenance, it says there is a transformer inside the laptop. Isn't the transformer in the power brick rather than the laptop itself? A transformer seems like a lot of weight that can easily be shed.

@Peter, the transformer is almost always in the power brick, but the laptop won't work without the power brick past a certain point. It's fair to call it part of the unit.

The power brick will transform the voltage from AC to DC and to an appropriate voltage however in the laptop there will be voltage regulators that change the voltage to the correct value as some parts will work at 12v but others at 5v or 3.3v. But as likefunbutnot said, although the power prick isn't IN the laptop it is a very important part. The only reason it isn't in the laptop is because of size. You will find one in a desktop computer because space isn't as much of a problem,
