Whats the real trend for 2016? Product Lifecycle management, and strategically precisely engineered failure to ensure the consumer gets their dollars worth out of the product and not a penny more or a day beyond the warranty. We are already seeing this in technology products, cars and the latest and greatest whatever, you name it. Next up I foresee housing as being the next disposable consumer products followed by human life itself.
