Instagram's Saved Photos feature is a great way to save your favorite photos in collections for later viewing. But until now, you could only view your saved photos on your phone. If you wanted to browse those collections on your computer, you were out of luck.

Today, you can fix such annoying Instagram issues with one of several third-party apps.

Windows and Mac

Mac users can view bookmarked images using the free desktop app Flume. When you open the app, go to your profile using the menu that floats into view when you hover the mouse at the bottom of the screen.

Click the bookmarks icon in the menu at the top of the screen and you can see your saved photos as well as all of your individual collections.

The Flume interface stays really true to the Instagram experience so it should feel natural to use, and really is an extremely enjoyable experience on your computer.

Windows users can opt for the official Instagram app available in the Windows 10 app store, which offers the same experience as Flume. Launch the app, go to your profile, and you can view your saved photos and collections.

Chrome

Chrome users can opt for the extension Improved Layout for Instagram. The extension isn't perfect. You can view saved photos in chronological order of when they were saved, but you can't view them in collections. If you've painstakingly organized your bookmarked Instagram images into categories, this might not be the choice for you.

Once you've installed the extension, load up Instagram on your computer and click the three dots that appears next to your profile icon.

This will open up another window where you can view a feed of either your saved and liked Instagram photos. Clicking on those images will open up the Instagram link to that photo.

And remember, you can download your own Instagram photos easily too.
