Painting tools come in a wide variety. From basic drawing apps to complicated feature-rich software – you will find them all online. But if you are looking for a drawing app that features important drawing features like layering and lets you export drawings to the SVG format, check out VectorPaint.
VectorPaint is a free to use tool that comes as an extension for Google Chrome. After installation, it can be accessed through a button that appears when you open a new tab. Users are quickly familiarized with the app’s interface: the drawing tools are located on the left, the canvas in the center, and the right contains colors, opacity tools, strokes, and layers.
Using a variety of drawing tools – such as lines, shapes, text, inserting online images, writing text, and layering objects – you can create wonderful drawings. Then using the File menu in the top left you can export your images to PNG or SVG files. SVG files can also be opened by the app; this helps save your drawing in SVG and then opening it for editing later.
