If you want information from the web on your cell phone but are wary about the data charges you would incur then txtFeeder has a solution for you. It can deliver website feeds via text messages thereby helping you avoid the data charges.

The process is simple – create a free account, pick your feeds and send the commands via SMS to txtFeeder to read them. For example, you can send “˜feed list”˜ and it will return your list of feeds. Then you could send the feed number and it’ll send the corresponding feed headline. Hence this is a good service for those whose SMS charges are way lower than their data charges and they just want no-frills information from the web.

Does txtFeed charge per text or is it COMPLETELY free? I have unlimited text but that may cause an issue.
