The PlayStation VR launched last week to generally positive reviews. It’s a latecomer to the industry, competing against the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive, but offers a few new things that make it worth considering over the other two.
Feel cautious? Not sure if the PlayStation VR is good enough to warrant the $400 price tag? No worries! You can try it before you buy it.
Simply use the PlayStation VR kiosk finder [No Longer Available] to find the closest store near you that will have one on display that you can try. Enter your zip code and it will show all nearby stores within a 20-mile radius.
Click on one of the locations and you’ll see the dates and times when the “VR Experience” will be available, along with driving directions if you need them.
Note that even though virtual reality is a rising home entertainment trend, it still has a number of potential problems and hurdles to overcome. We don’t want to discourage you from trying VR! We just want you to know that it’s still in early adoption phase.
What are your first impressions of the PlayStation VR? Have you tried any other VR headsets yet? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
