Top 5 Sites To Search For Cheap Online Car Rentals car1 Looking to rent a car? At first glance, the big rent-a-car companies like Enterprise and Hertz make it easy with their official websites. You can simply make an online reservation, they’ll give you a confirmation number, and you’re good to go.

Sometimes however, it’s just not that simple, especially if you’re trying to rent a car last-minute. Vehicles may be sold out, rental office locations have lousy business hours, and rates don’t match one another. Before you know it, their websites will start giving you the runaround, requiring you to change the pick-up or drop-off times and limiting your choice of cars to whatever is available.

How about a more user-friendly and faster way to search for cheap online car rentals? Yeah, that’s more like it. Avoid the frustration and hassle altogether with these websites.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two images. Maybe you could space it out better?

First check before checking any car-rental sites.
They have great car-rental coupons from 70% off to free day to upgrades, then click on the link which will re-direct to the rental site and add the coupon or just copy the coupon code and apply it on the respective website.
    Excellent, plus gives coupon ratings.

I can second Dave's comment, and add Priceline to the mix as well.

I'm another Hotwire fan. Also, reserve the cheapest car you can be satisfied driving. When you get to the counter, politely refuse upgrades. You may get "stuck" with an upgrade anyway, since they usually don't have a lot of the cheap cars. Twice we reserved a subcompact in Orlando for a family of four. The ride from the airport to the hotel would have been uncomfortable with probably having to put luggage inside the car, but we could have done it. After encouraging us to upgrade to a larger car, they had to give us a mini-van because that's what they had in stock--and what we preferred to drive anyway.

I have received ridiculous deals through and I recommend them to everyone I talk to who is looking for a rental car. The only thing that some people do not like is that you don't find out the company until after you pay for the car; but they only use name brands and I have rented a car 5 or 6 times with really good results. I have saved 60-90% on the published rates from the company's websites - it is a spectacular deal.

I find that by searching for coupon codes and browsing directly to the rental car company's website is the best way to get a deal.

I can usually find a % off coupon or a free day, which usually is better than what discount sites offer.
