Tinder is adding another paid tier, and this one is designed purely to help you score a date for the night. This is because Tinder Gold lets you see who has swiped right on you before you swipe right on them. Which makes it a no-brainer for unfussy people who like to cast their net far and wide.

Online dating is all about opening your mind. At least if you want to succeed. It's no good limiting yourself to a specific type of person with a particular set of features, because you're unlikely to find Mr. or Mrs. Right. Or, in the case of Tinder, the perfect person to spend the night with.

Expand Your Online Dating Horizons

Tinder Gold aims to help you expand your horizons. It does this by showing you everyone who has swiped right on your profile before you've even had the chance to swipe right on them. Which means you get to swipe right on a sure thing even if you're not 100 percent into them.

That's really the main pull of Tinder Gold. Because beyond the new 'Likes You' feature it's just the same set of features you already get with Tinder Plus. Which means Passport, Rewind, Unlimited Likes, five Super Likes per day, and one Boost per month, as well as extra profile controls.

In its blog post announcing Tinder Gold, Tinder tries to paint a picture, saying, "Think of it as your personal Swipe Right concierge—available 24/7—bringing all of your pending matches to you. Now you can sit back, enjoy a fine cocktail, and browse through profiles at your leisure".

Tinder Gold is only currently at the testing phase, and initially only available in Argentina, Australia, Canada, and Mexico. There's no word yet on if and when Tinder Gold will launch in the United States and elsewhere. However, if it gets people to pay, Tinder will start pushing it.

Helping People With Money Get More Dates

Tinder has an enviable business model right now. It's helping people pair off, and is basically offering to smooth that process for those willing to pay up. Sure, most Tinder relationships only last for a short period of time, but then that's why Tinder exists in the first place.
