I used Smart Switch about 6 months ago to move everything from a galaxy s5 over to a s6. I had no problems with data our photos, it was a very easy transfer and I am a novice. But I would definitely back everything up just in case. Thanks Samsung for something that's actually useful instead of all the bloatware you install on all your devices.
