Google released its very first algorithm update sixteen months after it went live, which was mostly undocumented. Most webmasters will tell you that Google algorithm updates are a big deal, so let’s take at how many the search engine behemoth has released over the years.

Does anyone know, if there is a book with the Google algorhitm evolution? I want to get an inside in major and some minor updates there have been since the release in 1998. :) .. So far i'm searching the web for links and used the overview. But I would really like a book with the story.
Any help or knowledge about a book?

Awesome!! I know just three of them - Panda, Penguin and Hummingbird (major releases).

However, I had a problem viewing the Infograph:

"Click to enlarge" is supposed to enlarge the picture (within screen boundaries), but it took [me] to its URL which is about 150% of my screen width.

Am I supposed to use the horizontal scrollbar everytime I read [a line] ?

I love to check out the Infograph, but it was made difficult enough [for me].

So I [am forced] to download the large version, but it looked worse in Picasa and Windows Photo Viewer - I can't use keyboard to scroll down!!

So I (am forced again) made a simple html with css for img - width 100% and max-width 100% - Voila!

These are just the ones they told us about. It would be interesting to know about all the updates we knew nothing about!
