    Well I think we mustnt forget about the software we use. For example it is really recommended that you use Firefox instead of IE, Safari or Chrome. Then there are quite a few Plugins for Firefox to install (like AdBlock Edge, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, HTTPS everywhere).

    Also you shouldn't use Windows or Mac OS X, think about switching to Linux; Mint and/or Ubuntu are really easy, IMHO, they are much easier than any Apple product, and they're free!

    And last but not least: E-Mail encryption! You don't have to use complicated stuff like PGP... There is a new Mail provider which offers encrypted E-Mail for free! It is like G-Mail but safe, and much more beatiful!
