Spotify Knows What You Listened to Last Summer

Spotify has created a playlist full of songs you’ve listened to over previous summers. At this point, Spotify probably knows you better than you know yourself. At least when it comes to your taste in music. And the longer you’ve been a subscriber, the better Spotify knows you. Which is scary.


Summer is almost upon us. Which means nicer weather, longer nights, and the chance to get away for a few days (if you’re lucky). Spotify seems obsessed with summer this year. Your Summer Rewind Is Here

Spotify has produced a brand new playlist for all users who joined Spotify before June 2016. This is everyone who has been active on Spotify for at least one summer. Your Summer Rewind is a playlist packed with the songs Spotify thinks you like listening to during the summer months.

You can find Your Summer Rewind by visiting Spotify.com/rewind while signed in to Spotify, or on the homescreen of the Spotify app on Android and iOS. Spotify has also made a playlist called 50 Years of Songs of the Summer featuring the defining summer songs between 1967 and 2017.

The Your Summer Rewind playlist is available right now in (take a deep breath)… Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the U.S.
