Netflix has a handful of secret keyboard shortcuts that aren’t listed anywhere. Most of them are related to debugging and you won’t be using them on a day-to-day basis, but they could prove useful if you’re ever having trouble.
Stream Options (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S)
Having trouble with stream lag, buffering, choppiness, or whatever else? Try tweaking the stream options manually with this menu. You can even change the Content Delivery Network, in case your problem is routing related.
Audio/Video Stats (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + D)
If you aren’t sure how to tweak your stream options above, use this window to see what your current settings are.
Logging Window (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + L)
This logging window won’t be useful most of the time, but if you’re running into errors, if the stream won’t load, or if playback is glitched in some way, then you may see some pertinent error messages that could help you solve your issues.
