Remote desktop connections are a great help when you want to give remote access of your computer to other computers. Such connections are a great help when it comes to troubleshooting computer problems or when it comes to accessing files when you are away from your computer. Sometimes, people use these connections for instructional purposes too. You could share your computer’s screen with a student’s computer and have him view whatever it is that you do on your computer screen.

But there are two limitations of such connections - firstly, you cannot share your computer screen with multiple students and secondly, you cannot restrict their actions on your desktop i.e. students can control your mouse and keyboard with their equipment. Here to fill these gaps is the screen sharing software called ScreenView.

share screen with multiple computers

ScreenView is an excellent Java-based desktop application for Windows computers. The app comes in two versions: Server and Client. The app lets you run the Server application on one computer. This generates a number code for your screen. Then any other computers that have ScreenView Client installed can use this number to view what is happening on your desktop screen. Multiple computers can then simultaneously view your computer screen.
